Growing up I was inspired by the influential women in my life who were always creating something magical when given the chance. My mom, aunt and grandmothers are/were artists in their own ways creating beautiful paintings, sketches and hand crafted items. It was from following in their footsteps that I found my love for creation in the form of drawing, painting, and graphic design and I'm forever grateful to them for it. I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from a small university in New Hampshire where I spent most of my time snowboarding and taking any art class that I could add to my schedule to keep myself creating.

After college I headed west to Colorado and it was there that I met my now husband. Soon we traded in the snow for sunshine and planted our roots in California where we started our family. For a long time I stepped back from art to focus on raising my little boys but always felt as if my creative side was never fulfilled. Now I happily create art in my home studio (aka my converted garage) where my easel and paints compete for space with surfboards and skateboards. I’ve had my art displayed in national wedding magazines, art galleries, the Google offices, my dear friends home and even in the bottom of my trashcan (I’m my own toughest critic). To me it doesn’t matter where my art ends up as long as it makes someone feel something that brings them happiness or is a part of a special memory. The best part of creating art to me is allowing each piece to tell a story - whether that story belongs to me or someone else. I'd love to help you tell your story...
